How Liquid Link is defined
The architecture is explicit that Liquid Link is not to be defined as merely a hedge fund. It is defined instead as Build Capital's digital economy investment platform, and the reason given for drawing it that broadly is that it gives the firm freedom to operate different strategies underneath it.
Five sub-brands are named underneath it: Digital, Ventures, Media, Interactive and Labs. Each is described in the Liquid Link section rather than here, and none of them is active.
The breadth is deliberate rather than vague. A platform defined as a single fund can only ever do one thing, and the architecture is explicit that Liquid Link is not to be read that way.
