Strategies
Secured loans, run in-house.
The lending line: short-term and commercial loans, secured on the collateral or the contract, underwritten and serviced in-house from the first read of the file to the last payment.
- Short-term lending
- Commercial loans
- Premium finance
- Equipment, contractor and receivables
- Secured, serviced in-house
Lending built around the contract
A business has the order or the contract in hand, and the bank is too slow to fund it.
The Lending line sources secured, short-dated loans against the collateral or the contract, so the money follows something the business already holds. The file is ours end to end: our own underwriting prices the loan before capital moves, our own servicing runs it through the term, and our own collection closes it. Like every platform in the holding company, the lending platform sits on the same four controls, underwriting, in-house audit, risk assessment, and active asset management, and the holding company owns those controls, not the platform. Lending sits beside Specialty finance and Debt recovery inside Build Capital Finance, so a premium, a receivable, a contract, and a written-off loan are all read with the same discipline.
Structured, not formed, not an offer.
- What we source
- Secured, short-dated loans against the collateral or the contract a business already holds
- What we run
- In-house underwriting before capital moves, servicing through the term, and collection at the end
- How it is checked
- In-house audit and risk assessment, owned by the holding company, not the platform
What Build Capital Finance writes
Short-term lending
Secured loans for when a bank is too slow.
Secured, short-dated loans against the collateral or the contract, underwritten and serviced in-house because a bank is too slow; structured, not formed.
Specialty financePremium finance
A loan that sits on a refund, not a promise.
The financed part of a commercial premium, secured by the unearned premium, so cancellation returns it and the loan sits on a refund, not a promise; structured, not formed.
Specialty financeEquipment, contractor and receivables finance
Finance set against work already under contract.
Finance underwritten on the work already under contract, not the operator’s balance sheet alone, with draw control and collection against the receivable; in research, not formed.
How a loan is run
Underwrite
Every loan is priced by our own underwriting, audit, and risk assessment before capital moves.
Fund
A secured, short-dated loan is written against the collateral or the contract, and the money goes out while the order still stands.
Service
The platform services its own book, so the file is ours end to end and performance is checked in-house, not assumed.
Manage
Active asset management runs each business day to day; nothing is held passively.
How the book is checked
The same four controls, on a loan that was secured before it was written.
Each of the three lines inside Build Capital Finance sits on the same four controls, and the holding company owns them, not the platform. Lending and Specialty finance are priced by our own underwriting before capital moves: the short-term loan on the contract, the premium finance loan that sits on a refund rather than a promise, the equipment and receivables loan collected against the contracted work. Debt recovery runs the same underwriting on loans bought at a discount and worked out with the borrower rather than shut down.
None of it is formed, and none of it is an offer.
- Lending
- Priced by our own underwriting before capital moves, serviced in-house through the term
- Specialty finance
- Underwritten on the refund or the work already under contract, not the operator’s balance sheet alone
- Debt recovery
- The scenario underwritten, how it fails and what that costs, before a written-off loan is priced
Who the line reaches
Business owners
Covered, and funded for the next order.
Premium finance and short-term lending, so an owner keeps the business covered and funds the next order without selling a piece of it.
Operators and fleets
Trucks, crews and routes kept moving.
Equipment, contractor, and receivables finance, underwritten on work already under contract, so trucks, crews, and routes keep moving.
