Liquid Link is Build Capital's digital economy investment platform. The architecture behind that sentence is explicit about what it excludes: Liquid Link is not defined as a single fund, and the definition is broad on purpose rather than by omission.
The reason is structural. A platform definition allows each part of the digital economy to be approached with whatever structure that part actually needs, decided when there is something to structure, instead of forcing every idea through one vehicle chosen in advance. Build Capital carries the institutional side of the work, and Liquid Link is where its digital work is meant to sit.

Scope, holding, and the difference between them
Everything in this section distinguishes between two things that are easy to blur. A scope is a decision about what an area is allowed to look at. A holding is something owned. Liquid Link has the first and none of the second, and the pages below are written so that a reader can tell which is which without hunting for a disclaimer.
The distinction matters because the real risk in a platform this early is not that it invests badly. It is that it describes itself as further along than it is. A scope written down before there is anything in it is useful work; a scope described as though it were a portfolio is not.
