Long-form research, read before release.
A report is the long form of the research the holding company runs on its own lines, published only after a person has read it in full and, where flagged, counsel.
- Written from the research
- Read by a person
- Counsel where flagged
- None released
Read before it is released
When a study of one line is written down at full length, it is a report, and no report goes up unread.
Every report derives from the research the holding company runs on its five lines: specialty finance, insurance, lending, debt recovery, and asset management. That research prices the asset and works out how the scenario fails before a service moves forward, and a report is that work written down, with each source listed so a reader can check a claim against the same file. Before release a person reads the whole report, and where the read flags an offer, an entity, or a regulated line, it goes to counsel next.
