The five areas Build Capital is structured around.

Build Capital is structured to identify attractive assets and financial needs, structure capital around them, manage risk, and compound capital across private markets, credit, insurance, real assets and digital markets. What follows describes that architecture. It does not describe a business that is trading.

Abstract architectural massing — illustrative strategies context

One platform, five strategy areas

Strategies is the layer where the architecture is written down. Each area names a kind of asset or financial need the platform is built to work with, and the discipline that would have to sit around it. The areas are drawn deliberately wide, because a vehicle is chosen to fit an asset and a mandate rather than the other way round.

None of the areas below is open, funded, staffed or investing. No entity has been formed for any of them. Where a page in this section describes something the firm intends to do, it is written in those words and not as something already done.

Asset Management

Asset management, private funds, alternative investments, fund management, and future separately managed accounts. Which vehicle is used, and whether it is used at all, sits downstream of counsel.

Asset Management

Private Credit

Private lending, specialty finance, insurance premium finance, surety and bond finance, and business-purpose loans, with embedded lending named as a future direction. The operating brand for this work is Build Capital Credit.

Private Credit

Real Assets

Real estate, development, acquisitions, private real estate vehicles and infrastructure-related investments. This is the newest of the areas and the least researched.

Real Assets

Venture

Venture investing sits inside Liquid Link. This route exists because the site map names it, and it points at the Liquid Link page rather than describing a separate Build Capital venture programme.

Liquid Link

Liquid Link is defined as Build Capital's digital economy investment platform, drawn broadly on purpose so that more than one strategy can operate underneath it.

What this page deliberately does not say

There is no target, no allocation, no capacity, no minimum and no term anywhere in this section, and no vehicle is described as available. Those are not omissions of style. Build Capital is pre-formation, has made no offering, and has had none of this architecture reviewed by counsel, so a number placed here would be an invention rather than a disclosure.

Where the firm has done research on a subject named above, that research is internal and under review. Nothing on this site presents internal research as a market view the firm holds, and nothing here is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security.

Structure follows the asset. An area appears here because the platform is built to work with that kind of asset, not because a fund, a programme or a mandate exists for it.

Elsewhere on the site

The credit and insurance fronts have their own sections: Build Capital Credit covers the lending lines in detail, and Build Capital Insurance covers the insurance side. The home page sets out how the parts are meant to relate, and About explains what the firm is for.
